About Hopewell Valley Children's Theatre
A PRE-PROFESSIONAL THEATRE EXPERIENCE.
Hopewell Valley Children's Theatre (HVCT) is a youth development performing arts organization that offers winter and summer programs for children in Grades 1-12. Our performance-based theatre programs provide an opportunity for all children to participate in full stage musical productions.
Having staged over 50 productions, Hopewell Valley Children’s Theatre offers young people a pre-professional theatrical experience. We partner with exceptional costumers and stage craftsmen, as well as the Hopewell Valley Performing Arts Center for lighting and sound. HVCT has been committed to providing the community with quality youth performances since 1999.
We believe, through quality instruction by our talented drama, vocal and dance staff, that the performing arts have the ability to build confidence, character, and self-esteem. Children grow as individuals, learn to work as a team, and develop a life-long appreciation of the arts.
Our Team
Our instructors are professional educators and craftsmen,
and have established relationships within the Hopewell Valley community. They encourage students to believe in themselves
and each other. Our staff’s mission is to provide a safe environment
for theatre-seeking children to express themselves
and gain a sense of belonging.
